Activity Testing (Bioassay screening)
ASOs are tested using cell lines raised as bioindicators to understand which molecules present the most desirable effect and are top candidates to proceed with development. Bioassays and required cell culture maintenance are amenable to automation on a Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Biomek i-Series Automated Liquid Handler and Vi-CELL Cell Viability Analyzer. Measure the efficacy of bioassays using a Molecular Devices SpectraMax plate reader and Molecular Devices ImageXPress Automated Cellular Imaging System. Then, with the Genedata Biopharma Platform, automatically capture, analyze and visualize data, including from qPCR, high-content imaging, flow cytometry, fluorescence/luminescence-based bioassays.
