Leica K7
Leica K7 is a 7.1 Megapixel Color CMOS camera, offering high-resolution, high-speed, sensitivity and supports hardware tiggering. The camera is suitable for wide range of applications and can be used to image both colour and fluorescent samples. The camera also offers streaming mode in with system lacking hardware triggering enabling it to reach its maximum frame rates on all microscopes platforms Sensor: Sony CMOS IMX420 Colour Senor format 3200x 2200 (7mp) 17.5mm diagonal Pixel size 4.5 µm Colour filter RGB (Bayer) Bit depth 8Biit 12Bit and 16Bit modes Exposure time 1 ms - 30 s Dynamic range >72 dB 4,200:1 Frame rate up to 110fps at full resolution (streaming mode, depending’s on the bit depth, exposure time and PC performance) Hardware triggering:M8/8-pin connector Supported operating systems Win10 Interface: 10GigE Recommended c-mount adapters: Stereo Microscope: 10450829 Video Adapter 1x or 10447367 Video Objective 0.63x for enhanced sensitivity (reduces camera resolution to 3mp.) Compound Microscope: HC C-mount adapter 1x for sCMOS (11541551) or C-Mount adapter 1x HC f. 1" (11541510) for enhanced sensitivity C-Mount HC 0.70x (11541543) (reduces camera resolution to 2.8mp) The K7 camera kit includes camera head, power pack, 10Gig E camera interface card, DVD with instruction for use, and a quick start guide. (Trigger cable not included).
Flexibility: Stunning fluorescence and color images
Employ the versatility of a single camera that can capture both high-quality color images and fluorescence images
- Enable a single microscope to address multiple applications, such as color and fluorescence imaging, with a single camera.
- Quickly optimize your systems to match your application needs with (patented/pending) the "smart ROI" feature.
Perform stunning, high-quality, 16-bit imaging.

Achieve More: More data in less time
Meet ever-increasing demands and do more with less. Turn your microscope into a high-performance, sample-scanning system.
- Achieve 2.5 times faster high-resolution scanning due to hardware triggering*
- Achieve higher speeds enabled by perfect sync with LAS X navigator and synapse.
- Be confident about your results by collecting large datasets, which are statistically significant, in less time
- Avoid working with degraded samples by digitizing them quickly and simply

Built for speed: Decode dynamic events
Ability to image specimens with very high-temporal resolution on all Leica microscopes.
- Up to 6 times faster (in TL)
- Record challenging live, dynamic, fast-moving samples with high-temporal resolution (133 fps)
- Activate streaming to achieve maximum frame rates even without hardware triggering

Boost sensitivity
Smart ROI function enables you to use the cameras large sensor with demagnifying c-mount optics, increasing effective pixel size, boosting sensitivity, and further enhancing fluorescence imaging performance by automatically cropping the active sensors area.
Smart ROI, boosts system flexibility allowing you to adjust your system to best match your application needs.
