Product No. AD589H21

ATTO 589H is a fluorescent marker from the class of rhodamines. As a hydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho101, the dye shows very good water solubility, significantly reduced aggregation behavior and a low tendency to non-specific binding.

ATTO-TEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leica Microsystems

Optical properties

  • λ abs = 589 nm
  • ε max = 1.2×105 M -1 cm -1
  • λ fl = 620 nm
  • n fl = 85%
  • τ fl = 3.9 ns
  • CF 260 = ε 260 /ε max = 0.36
  • CF 280 = ε 280 / ε max = 0.52

ATTO 589H is a fluorescent marker from the class of rhodamines. As a hydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho101, the dye shows very good water solubility, significantly reduced aggregation behavior and a low tendency to non-specific binding. ATTO 589H has a strong absorption, very high fluorescence quantum yield and a high thermal and photochemical stability. The dye is therefore perfectly suited for use in single molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy (SIM, STED, etc.). ATTO 589H is an anionic dye. After coupling to a substrate, it carries a single negative charge. Efficient excitation of fluorescence occurs in the 570 - 600 nm range. ATTO 589H is an isomer mixture of two dyes with practically identical absorption and fluorescence properties. The dye is also available in pure isomer form on request.
