ATTO 495 is a novel fluorescent label derived from the well-known dye Acridine Orange. Characteristic features of the label are strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and high thermal and photo-stability. The dye shows intense and long-lived phosphorescence in solid matrix or at low temperatures. ATTO 495 is moderately hydrophilic. The fluorescence can be excited efficiently in the range 465 - 510 nm.

Characteristic properties of our fluorescent dyes

  • Strong absorption (high extinction coefficient)
  • High fluorescence quantum yield
  • High photostability
