ATTO 390 Streptavidin Fluorescent Label 1 mg

ATTO 390 Streptavidin Fluorescent Label 1 mg

Product No. AD-390-61

ATTO 390 is a novel fluorescent label with a coumarin structure. Characteristic features of the label are high fluorescence quantum yield, large Stokes-shift, good photo-stability, and low molecular weight.

ATTO-TEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leica Microsystems

Optical properties

  • λ abs = 390 nm
  • ε max = 2.4×104 M -1 cm -1
  • λ fl = 476 nm
  • n fl = 90 %
  • τ fl = 5.0 ns
  • CF 260 = ε 260max = 0.46
  • CF 280 = ε 280 / ε max = 0.09

ATTO 390 is a novel fluorescent label with a coumarin structure. Characteristic features of the label are high fluorescence quantum yield, large Stokes-shift, good photo-stability, and low molecular weight. ATTO 390 is moderately hydrophilic. Its fluorescence can be excited efficiently in the range 360 - 410 nm. A useful excitation source is, e.g., a Mercury Arc Lamp with its lines at 365 nm and 405 nm.

Characteristic properties of our fluorescent dyes

  • Strong absorption (high extinction coefficient)
  • High fluorescence quantum yield
  • High photostability
