PRemoteCare is a smart monitoring and service option for your microscope. It tracks the most important operating conditions and indicates early if something is off from the standard or expected result.

RemoteCare is safe. It utilizes state-of-the-art Device Relationship Management technology to securely communicate in real time with Leica’s Remote monitoring platform across an encrypted internet connection.
RemoteCare transmits only diagnostic information about the instrument which helps us to provide you with faster service.

The award-winning remote device monitoring service from Leica Microsystems, RemoteCare, enables us to proactively monitor your instruments' performance and detect issues before they result in compromised uptime. Should an on-site visit be required, RemoteCare enables our service team to analyse historical and current instrument readings to help ensure we arrive on-site with the right tools and parts to resolve the issue quickly during the first visit.
Proactive service approach
In the event an issue is detected, automatic alerts are sent to Leica's technical support team, allowing us to investigate the issue and proactively contact you to take steps to minimise instrument downtime. By continuously monitoring critical temperatures, laser performance, and other system data, we aim to minimise potential failures. To further improve device performance, the latest software updates will be deployed as they become available.
Improved uptime
Leica's complete line of confocal microscopes is shipped preconfigured with a software agent that can be activated, with your permission, to enable RemoteCare. Once enabled, the software agent runs in the background collecting key diagnostic information and automatically identifying potential issues to help ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Secure IT architecture
RemoteCare complies with current IT security standards and records only device diagnostic and status-relevant information. In the event that a remote desktop session is needed for further analysis, your explicit permission is required before access is granted. In addition, RemoteCare allows you to interact with our technical support team during each session.
