Jupiter HPLC Columns
The Jupiter HPLC fully porous column portfolio, including Jupiter 300Å C4/C5/C18 (Intact) and Jupiter Proteo C12 (Peptide Mapping), offers optimized reversed phase solutions for protein and peptide characterization and purification. With the Jupiter HPLC columns, one can identify, purify, and analyze almost any protein.
For new methods or method updates, upgrade to the Biozen WidePore C4 and Intact XB-C8 reversed products for protein analysis and characterization, and the Biozen Peptide PS-C18 and XB-C18 for peptide mapping.

Phases
Reversed Phase
C5: Low hydrophobic retention, high surface coverage of bonded phase. More retentive than C4, offering slightly alternate selectivity.
Recommended Use: Large proteins, large polypeptides (MW>10,000), highly hydrophobic peptide samples
Proteo
Reversed phase separation with 90A pore size for enhanced interaction and selectivity for smaller peptides
Recommended Use: Protein digest maps and small peptides
C18: High hydrophobic retention, medium bonded-phase surface coverage.
Recommended Use: For separation of intact proteins >10,000 MW
C4: Low hydrophobic retention, high surface coverage of bonded phase.
Recommended Use: Large proteins, large polypeptides (MW>10,000), highly hydrophobic peptide samples
