ATTO Dye Test Kits
ATTO-TEC-TEC offers five new kits with selected ATTO-TEC dyes in the set. With specially adjusted amounts of each dye, initial tests can be carried out to select the most suitable fluorophores for the intended applications.
The following ATTO-TEC kits are available for this purpose:
Test Kits
The combination of three dyes with similar absorption and fluorescence wavelengths allows our customers to easily find the optimal ATTO Dye for their (labeling) application in the corresponding excitation range. The dyes sometimes differ, for example in terms of charge and linker, which means that different performance in different applications can be determined quickly and easily. Likewise, the slightly different spectral characteristics of the three included dyes allow the selection of the best-suited fluorophore, optimized for the filter sets or other device-specific parameters, e.g. in multiplexing applications, in order to minimize crosstalk and/or bleed-through or to enable the most effective excitation and/or detection.
The advantage of the kits offered, each containing a sufficient amount of the three dyes to conduct multiple test reactions or experiments, is their lower price compared to ordering the three ATTO-TEC dyes individually.
We offer four kits for the wavelength ranges of 500 nm , 550 nm , 600 nm , and 640 nm, each containing 0.5 mg of an amine-reactive derivative ( NHS ester ) of three well-known and proven ATTO-TEC dyes.

Spectral Kit
We have also put together an ATTO-TEC Spectral Kit which contains five hydrophilic ATTO-TEC dyes with absorption maxima in the wavelength range of 500 nm – 700 nm and thus covers the entire visible spectral range. Due to their hydrophilicity and photostability, these dyes are particularly suitable for protein labeling. The spectral properties of the five fluorophores enable their use, for example, in multiplexing with five colors (5-Plex) as well as in FRET experiments with dye pairs or even FRET cascades.
Our ATTO-TEC Spectral Kit contains the five dyes ATTO 488 , ATTO 542 , ATTO 594 , ATTO 643 and ATTO 700 as amine-reactive derivatives ( 0.5 mg NHS ester each ).
